Top 10 Games Of The Week

Chris Schisler

1.) Ravens @ Colts
1pm Sunday TV: CBS
Reason: The Ravens are red hot on a 3 game winning streak. The Colts have found their stride after an 0-2 start. With two suspect secondaries this could be a shoot out between Joe Flacco and Andrew Luck.

2.) Cardinals @ Broncos
4:05pm Sunday TV: Fox
Reason: Peyton Manning has to battle another dominant defense in the NFC West. This time he battles the Cardinals, one of two remaining undefeated teams.

3.) No.6 Texas A&M @ No.12 Mississippi State
Noon, Saturday TV: ESPN
Reason: Texas A&M barely survived the Arkansas game, winning in overtime. They have to play a tough Bulldogs team that just beat LSU. This could be a classic.

4.) No.3 Alabama @ No. 11 Ole Miss
3:30 Saturday TV: CBS
Reason: This should be a defensive slugfest. Whoever runs the ball the best will win this old school SEC fight.

5.) Chiefs @ 49ers
4:25 Sunday TV: CBS
Reason: This is a battle between two 2-2 teams who want to stay relevant in their tough division. The Chiefs just dominated the Patriots on Monday Night Football. The 49ers just gave the Eagles their first loss, righting their ship.

6.) No.14 Stanford @ No.9 Notre Dame
3:30 Saturday TV NBC
Reason: The Irish are ranked 9th despite playing nobody of note this season. If they want me to take them seriously they have to beat a very good Stanford team.

7.) No.15 LSU @ No. 5 Auburn
7pm Saturday TV: ESPN
Reason: LSU just lost, putting them in an uphill battle in the SEC. Nick Marshall is feeling it right now for Auburn. This one should be fun.

8.) Vikings @ Packers
8:25 Thursday TV: CBS/NFLNetwork
Reason: Teddy Bridgewater was sensational in his first start. If Bridgewater is as good as he looked, this could be a shoot out.

9.) No.19 Nebraska @ No.10 MSU
8pm Saturday TV: ABC
Reason: The Spartans still have aspirations of a championship, despite losing to Oregon earlier in the year. This is a battle between two good schools in an electric Michigan State environment.

10.) Jets @ Chargers
4:25 Saturday TV: CBS
Reason: The Jets are desperate not to go 1-4 after three close losses already. The Chargers are playing great and look like real contenders.
