Top 10 Thursday Night Games (College & NFL)

Chris Schisler

There is now Thursday night football all season long in both the NFL and college football. Here are the top 10
Match ups for 2014 football fans.

1.) NFL Week 1 Packers @ Seahawks
Here we have a possible NFC championship game. Aaron Rodgers and the prolific Packer offense against Richard Sherman and the Seahawks defense. This could be the best game of the year.

2.) NFL Week 2 Steelers @ Ravens
The Ravens and Steelers clashing is always must see television. It may be the best rivalry in sports.

3.) College Week 5: UCLA @Arizona St.
With a 10pm start us east coasters will have to stay up late for this one. Brett Hundley vs a very strong Arizona State program makes it worth it.

4.) NFL Week 8: Chargers @ Broncos
The Chargers are the only team in the AFC West that can give Denver a run run for their money. This game could have crucial implications on the playoff race.

5.) College Week 1: Texas A&M @ South Carolina
Texas A&M battles a South Carolina team who some argue could win it all. This is our first glimpse at Texas A&M without Johnny Football.

6.) NFL Week 16: Chargers @ 49ers
This is two quality teams late in the season which means playoff spots could be on the line.

7.) College Week 14: LSU @ Texas A&M
There is nothing like a cold December night with two prominent SEC programs doing battle.

8.) College Week 4: Auburn @ Kansas State
Its a primetime quarterback matchup between Nick Marshall and Jake Waters. This could be a barnburner.

9.) NFL Week 7 Jets @ Patriots
I guess we could call this next installment of this rivalry the Revis Bowl. Derrelle Revis plays against the Jets, his former team.

10.) NFL Week 5 Vikings @ Packers
Aaron Rodgers and the Pack against Adrian Peterson and the Vikings. Could this be rookie QB, Teddy Bridgewater’s first meeting with the Packers?
